Quietly working on the poise system
Sorry there hasnt been much chatter lately, have a short video with what I'm working on!
I've been making lots of little changes to how damage and enemies work, trying to make my enemy AI more modular... broke a few things, fixed a few bugs, fixed the things I broke...
I had meant to participate in Ludwig's game jam, but I only found out about it shortly after it started, and then had so many issues the first two days with the new project... I don't feel like I can make a good enough game in the 5 days that are left. I definitely need to work on my character controller, and make it ready for use in other projects. Right now, my main player and controller2D scripts are just an absolute mess of dependencies and redundant checks. I have slowly been touching up lots of other systems, but these two in particular have been a daunting task to tackle.
Anyhow, I'm rambling, enjoy the short vid! I'll probably put out an updated Project Kobold's Tale build tomorrow, and start shifting my focus back to it. Got lots of animation to do still!
